Davis Lock & Safe were really awesome to deal with. I needed my new place rekeyed, semi-urgently, because I'd lost a key while on a run, and they were able to get to it the same morning I called, I was quoted the exact price I was charged, and they sent a locksmith who was friendly, quick, and didn't laugh at me while I yelled at the Red Sox game on TV. Best bet is that I feel like the new place is totally mine now. Thanks, y'all. I definitely recommend Davis Lock & Safe. – Sean H.

Davis Lock & Safe are the best locksmiths I've ever known. These guys seem to always be able to do anything I ask them about. Today I brought in some blank, high-security keys for a Honda Odyssey. They were happy to cut my own blanks (vs. trying to sell me their own expensive version) and they still guarantee their work every time. Fast, friendly, well priced, and competent. Solid 5 stars: I was SUPER impressed with the customer service at Davis Lock & Safe! They provided several options, the service was fast, and they were REALLY friendly and nice. They made sure that the 8 keys I had cut all worked in the lock and when they weren't working as well as they should, they cut another 8 more so that I had great keys. Thank you!! I want to start this review by saying I do not usually write reviews, but this place was so amazing that I absolutely had to. This place is amazing! Very friendly, helpful, and fast service. My key got caught in the ignition and after calling multiple car service places someone finally recommended Davis Lock & Safe. They spent a considerable amount of time working on my key and ignition, and right when we thought the problem was fixed, the workers discovered that I’d have to go to a mechanic to fix my car, as it was a car problem rather than key problem. Despite spending time and labor working on my key and ignition, Lance was kind enough not to charge me a service fee! He also showed me what was actually wrong so that I’d have an easier time telling the mechanic with what my car needed. While I was waiting for my key to be fixed, I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently multiple people were helped with friendly service by the Davis Lock & Safe team. These workers are legit locksmiths and are not looking to scam you out of any money. I will definitely be back with any lock troubles I might have in the future. – Paris H.

Very knowledge, fair prices, and great service. While you might find a cheaper equipment alternative, often equipment can be fixed/adjusted for far less. I saved $45 today on a tumbler that just needed a small part. Out the door for only $15. They really know what they are doing at Davis Lock & Safe. – Cliff A.

I have been a customer of Davis Lock & Safe for many years. In 1997 I moved into a new home with a lot of exterior doors and had Davis Lock & Safe come out to the site and re-key all of the locks, which they did quickly and for a great price. More recently, I needed keys/alarm fobs programmed for my 2013 Ford Truck. Lance suggested a few things like non-alarm fob (cheaper) security keys for access and start and multiple security keys in case I lost another one. I approached Davis Lock & Safe again a few weeks ago when all keys to my child’s car were mysteriously lost. Lance recommended that I simply get the key code from the dealer and then quoted me an excellent price to provide new security keys (with programming) if I could get the car to them and alternatively if they had to come to the car. Lance even “lent” me a key blank (no charge) in case the dealer *had* to cut a key. Providing flexible cost options is a signature sign of excellent customer service. Davis Lock & Safe’s folks are friendly and helpful. I recommend them without reservation. – Guy T.

A couple weeks ago I took a key to a department store and had a copy made. It didn't work. I went there again, the department store made another copy, it did not work either. I then went to Davis Lock & Safe. The manager took the time to explain to me why the previous copies didn't work. I also had a problem getting my car key to open the truck. He fixed that also. Both keys they made worked perfectly. I highly recommend this small business. Go there first & save yourself time & trouble. – Fred W.

They were to my house within 10 minutes from calling to unlock my car that my baby was stuck inside. The car did not register that the keys were inside and auto locked the doors after I buckled my baby in. Amazing service at a time that was needed the most! I went to David Lock & Safe to get a key cut and programmed for a 2000 Infinity QX4 and the proprietor was very professional, quick and techno-savvy. He had all the paraphernalia needed to cut and program the key blank and it worked on the first attempt (I'm told it takes 5-6 times at some shops). I am so pleased, and it was a great price. I was warming up my truck this morning, and accidentally locked my only key inside while it was running! I called Davis Lock & Safe in a panic this morning, afraid it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to fix this mistake. The gentleman on the phone was nice and patient while getting all the information. He quoted me a fair price, and said they would be on their way right away. When the guys showed up, they didn't waste any time! They went right to work and had my truck unlocked within minutes. Then they offered to make me a spare key so this never happens again! Outstanding one-on-one customer service. I went to David Lock & Safe looking for a tough padlock without breaking the budget. They offered me quite a few selections based on quality and over all security. I picked what would work for me and had a bunch of keys cut and stamped. We visited the Davis Lock & Safe store. They explained the characteristics of the different types, brands and finishes which had the keyless feature. We selected the brand, style, and finish that we wanted and scheduled an installation date. The locksmith, Phillip, arrived promptly and proceeded to install the new locking system. He was meticulous in ensuring that it was properly aligned to the door and the latch. Everyone that we dealt with in this transaction was extremely helpful and professional. We highly recommend Davis Lock & Safe.

I called Davis Lock & Safe and said I thought I needed a locksmith to come to my house. The dispatcher asked me to describe the problem, which I did. He told me it would be over $100 to send a locksmith out but that I probably just had a tiny broken part. He said if I could bring the deadbolt into their shop, they could fix it for me much cheaper. So I took it in. The locksmith at the counter took a look, went to his parts bin and came back with a small metal part. He showed me how to put it in and how to position it as I remounted the lock on my door. He refused to take any payment for this small part! The lock works fine now and I am a "customer for life" of Davis Lock & Safe. Very professional and very reasonable people!

I moved into a new home and called first thing in the morning after the move. They sent someone right out. He was very friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. He even noticed one of the doors was a bit off in closing and was going to fix it by adjusting the lock but on further review he noticed one of the bolts in the hinge wasn't fully in which was causing it to not be properly aligned and corrected it at no charge. I plan on using this company again in the near future for other needs.

What a great company to work with. I lost the key on my 2012 Mazda 3 and the dealership wanted $350 to replace and program the key. A friend told me about this place and I called, they wanted $100 less than Mazda, hello guess who I choose. I would much rather deal with a small locally owned company anyway and I got to save $100 bucks to boot. Great little shop and super nice guys that work there. They ordered my key fob, called me when it came in, made the actual key and programmed it all in the space of 15 minutes. Great guys. It has a full warranty and they will take care of any future issues, my key looks exactly like my old one and works perfectly. I had no idea they also did locks sets for your home, I will keep that in mind. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The folks at Davis Lock & Safe were very friendly, extremely detail oriented, and went above and beyond. Going the extra mile for me means these guys will not only get all my work, but recommending them will be easy. I was their most important customer, regardless of the fact that it was a small job. While there a woman came in with an auto key that needed copying. The owner was so thorough with her, and it made me realize that there are still ethical professional people in this world – focused on the needs of those of us who are in a bind. What a wonderful company, and I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of anything dealing with lock issues.
I had a new auto door lock that needed rekeyed. Talk about a positive experience with the folks at Davis Lock & Safe – these guys are solid! They not only rekeyed the lock, they also recognized that my current auto key was worn beyond function. They went above and beyond to make certain that both the lock and the new key were in perfect working order.

I actually spoke with the owner while I was there paying and he was extremely generous and helpful. While I was there I "liked" them on Facebook for a discount and the owner went above and beyond in giving me a discount. Their staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me the right information I needed (the Honda store did not), and helped me make a better decision in order to save time & money. When they gave me a quote they came in under budget and under time... overall I loved this experience and will highly recommend them to all my family and friends.
